Chapter News - June 2006 Andy's Chapter of Hope has several important updates regarding our Chapter and upcoming events. Additional details can be found on our website through the following link: http://www.leukemia-hope.org/ June 2006 Updates 7th Annual Megan Cooper Golf Outing Presented by Outback Steakhouse of Crystal Lake There are still a few spots open and time to register. The event will be held on Monday, July 17 at Red Tail Golf Course in Lakewood, IL. The cost is $110 per golfer and includes golf, cart and Outback Steakhouse lunch. There will also be a raffle and auction during lunch. If you don't golf, but want to attend, make a $10 donation and join us for lunch. This is a great event and honors the memory of Megan Cooper who was lost to leukemia at the age of 8. Las Vegas Trip Raffle Tickets are only $20 and the grand prize is a trip to Las Vegas, which includes round trip airfare for two from anywhere in the continental US and three nights stay at the MGM Grand Hotel. This great prize package was donated by Tickets to Travel located in Wauconda, IL. This is a fun way to support our cause while getting the chance to win a trip to Las Vegas. Why your help is needed While survival rates have increased, many are still losing the battle against leukemia and other blood cancers. The memorials section of our website has several stories of families that have lost a loved one to leukemia. All of these individuals have had a tremendous impact on our Chapter and we continue our efforts to honor their memory.
