The primary goal of the the Megan Cooper Memorial Golf Outing to raise much needed funds to findf a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myelodysplastic syndromes. We can make a difference with your help. Below you'll find a few successful methods for fundraising.

If you need assistance setting up your fundraising page please contact Andy thorugh email at andy.lrf@gmail.com

Use Your Web Site!
Your fundraising web page is the fastest and easiest way for your friends, family and colleagues
to support your run or walk. It only takes a few minutes to set up your page. Don't forget to create a
friendly URL to make it easier for people to find and remember your page. Send an e-mail to
everyone in your address book with a link to your web page (again, use your friendly URL) and
your donations will come quickly. You can keep track of your progress through your fundraising
dashboard.

Make Use of Your Social Network!
Do you connect with people through Facebook, Twitter or other social networking sites? If so, you
have a great opportunity to build support for your efforts and ask for help. A short posting to your
profile or wall - with a link to your fundraising web page - could reap huge rewards.

Host an Event for Yourself or Your Team!
A dinner party, bowling or dart tournament, game night - almost any fun activity can be used to
help you or your team raise awareness and money.

Matching Gifts
Many employers will match the gift that their employees give to charities. Make sure that your
supporters know that they are supporting the Leukemia Research Foundation. Their contribution
to your effort can be matched, which can double or sometimes triple the value of the gift.

Promote Your Efforts
Does everyone you know what you're doing to help find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and
myelodysplastic syndromes? Let them know. Connect them to your fundraising web page. Ask for
their help. You never know what others can do to help without asking. Your fundraising goal may
be just a phone call, e-mail or conversation away. If so, you can always increase your goal!
